i am trying to load data from a csv file to a target table from BODS.
i have 500 records in teh file, but 501 records are loaded to target.
one extra empty row is gettign added to the target.
when i check the file in text editor, i dont find any extra record.
in the ignore row market settign in the flat file format i have given setting as in below snapshot.
[my column delimiter is '|' character and row delimiter is new line character]
but this dint help.
please suggest.

I have SAP HANA system on Suse Linux. Data Services also installed on the HANA system. Data Services client installed on my laptop. I want to load one flat file data to SAP HANA server. When I am executing the job I am getting the error like " You don't have permissions to access the file ".
How can load the file from client system to SAP Data Services Job server machine ?
Do I need to make any settings?
Please help to resolve this issue.

I am calling Idoc PORDCH03 into my Data Services and sending data to SAP through PORDCH03 Idoc.
With this Idoc, I am not able to send more than on PO at a time.
I am Passing PO to Segment E1PORDCH.
Do we have any other options to pass more than one PO .

I am using custom ABAP transform within an ABAP dataflow to fetch the data from the customer group 5 table TVV5 from SAP ECC. There are only two fields in that table ( Supply chain centre , Description ). However, its resulting in a validation error saying Column Named <Supply Chain Centre > has an Embedded blank. ( BODI-1111203). Below is the screenshot...... Any idea what is this about ?

we're having an issue while importing Function module from ECC. input parameters are missing in imported metadata but they are importing as table in that FM. SAP note 1858006 says same thing for 4.1 but we already have predefined function modules in ECC. did anyone face this issue ? please advice

Please let me know how can I configure OS PID to be captured in trace log of a job. At present trace logs contain a run id which I am not able to track with OS process.
I would also like to know if there is an easier way to capture which Job/Wf/DF is using how much pCache. We have a 100GB allocated and it getting full couple of times in a week.

We have Data Services jobs scheduled via management console in 4.0 Environment. I upgraded the repository to 4.2 and attach it in CMC and also in Server manager. Both the environments are in different servers.
Login to Data Services management console. Click on the upgraded repository schedules, scheduled jobs listed there. But there is no Job server atatched to it. When i try to activate or edit the schedule, i am getting below error.
Schedule:billing_rep Error:Socket is closed] When contacting the server above exception was encountered, so it will be assumed the schedule is not active anymore.
Am i missing any steps?

Jobs are running manually successfull in management console, but when scheduled
they are not getting executed on scheduled time. I checked all the parameters, like time file path's etc
all are correct.We are using BOE scheduler while scheduling. Any clue on this ?

i tried these options:
to_date('01/05/2015 10:00 PM','mm/dd/yyyy hh12:mi ') -> blank output
to_date('01/05/2015 10:00 PM','mm/dd/yyyy hh:mi ') -> wrong output [output is 2015.01.05 10:00, but expected was 2015.01.05 22:00]

I have to work on data migration from legacy systems to SAP ECC. We are planning to use SAP BPDM for that. I have downloaded the version of BPDM 2.4 which should be installed on Data services . But am not finding a way to do that.
Can anyone help me on how to install this BPDM content on data services?

Hi,
I am unable to Launch Repository Manager and BODS 3.2 Designer in Windows 7. When I try to launch it, the .EXEs (AL_Designer.exe) shows up in Task Manager but gets killed/ends by itself in few seconds. Please help!

How to create a data store from BODS client machine where the Oracle/SQL Server DB is on the other server.
Was trying to mention the server name as \\<ip address>\dbserver in 'Database Server name' box.
