Convert Date from one format to other

Hi Experts,

In the Source i have a Date Field Varchar(8), value is as 1130801

In the target i want as Date field Varchar(8), value should be 20130801, If the first field in the source is 1 value should be 20, if the first field is '0' value

should 19

Source values   target value

1130801            20130801

0130801            19130801

In the target if i can get in date format, that would be great, so that no need to convert again from varchar to date format
